The romantic Telugu action film Mr Bachchan, starring Ravi Teja in the lead role, has finally been released. The movie opened in theaters on August 15 and has since elicited a range of emotions, with Ravi receiving recognition for his enthusiastic portrayal. Here is an update on its OTT release, though, for those who are deterring themselves from seeing it on the big screen. Netflix, a massive streaming service, has already purchased the digital rights to Mr. Bachchan. According to media estimates, the movie would probably stream on Netflix 45 days following its theatrical release and make its OTT premiere.
Several well-known figures, including Jagapathi Babu, Bhagyashri Borshe, Subhalekha Sudhakar, Satya, Sachin Khedekar, and others, are part of Mr. Bachchan’s ensemble cast.
Early in August 2024, there were a lot of rumors circulating that Ravi Teja had been hurt in an accident while filming RT75 (tentative title). Millions of his followers were alarmed by the news and worried for his wellbeing, but the celebrity subsequently went to X to provide an update on his health.
Prior to this, the Hindustan Times reported that Ravi Teja and director Harish Shankar had reportedly reimbursed their fees for the movie in order to make up for the box office losses it sustained. The director is said to have refunded Rs. 2 crore, while the actor is said to have repaid Rs. 4 crore.
The report further stated that both Ravi Teja and Harish Shankar made this choice voluntarily, even though no one requested them to return their earnings.
For those who are unaware, Mr. Bachchan, who is financed by People Media Factory, is modeled after Indian entrepreneur Sardar Inder Singh’s actual income tax heist. Additionally, it is the Telugu version of the Ajay Devgn-starring Hindi movie Raid.
